In order to desire something or long for something and be able to focus your excitement on that, we have to realise that there is no point in going to all that trouble if your desire is contaminated with stuff that conflicts in your mind with what you want.
For example if I want to grow an apple, then do I plant an acorn? No. And why not? Because the apple idea is pure and obviously not the same as the acorn. If I planted an apple seed and thought I wanted an acorn, I would be very disappointed and vice versa. I must plant a pure apple seed, not a hybrid or I may end up with a pear.
If I plant an apple seed that is not very whole, like there's a bit out of it or it's been a bit eaten or something, would I expect a "good" apple to grow from that? No.
If I plant a row of carrot seeds and when they come up I allow the weeds to grow up between the carrot plants and allow them to smother the carrots will I end up with very good carrots? No.
If I plant the seed of desire for a new car but I think I don't deserve it, then will I end up with a good new car
or even any car at all? No.
The two thoughts are in conflict and your mind can only accept one at the time. If that thought that says I don't deserve that car has been there for some time, then it is a habit. Old habits which do not serve you need weeding out.
I can help you with that. I've done it myself! Please contact Ruth on inchargelifecoaching@gmail.com and I would love to help you.
